Safety Day

The slopes are not enough for you anymore and you want to challenge free terrain on traceless routes? Then the Safety Day is perfect for you. Here you'll learn the basics for safe freeride adventures. The guides of our ski school in Sölden will inform you about the safety equipment and will show you how to use it best.
After discussing the avalanche conditions you can start your adventure. During relaxed runs you'll get to know the best and safest way to ski down, a way that even looks cool. And you'll also learn how to behave when skiing in free terrain.

With a nice drink in the evening you can end the day in the company of the group and the guide. Together you can talk about your experiences and talk shop.

Facts:

  • Minimum of 3, maximum 8 participants
  • Helmet and back protection are a must. The remaining safety equipment will be provided. If you own safety equipment (avalanche search equipment, shovel) yourself, please bring it so you can exercise with your own equipment.
  • A prerequisite for participation is that you can safely ski down red slopes.
  • Rate € 99,- including safety equipment
  • Meeting point: every Thursday at 9:45 a.m. at the office at Giggijoch. For groups from 3 people upon request.
